In addition to manufacturing drawing tools, pulleys and wire guides, NABER & WISSMANN offers comprehensive services for components that come into contact with wire in wire drawing machines and wire drawing systems.
In day-to-day production, maintenance and production teams are regularly faced with the task of replacing worn-out tools, modifying components, or finding solutions for specific applications. Targeted services can extend tool life, reduce production downtime, and allow existing tools to continue to be used cost-effectively.
Our services include both the reconditioning and repair of drawing tools and the development and manufacture of custom solutions.
Overhauls and repairs
Wire drawing tools are subject to high wear during the wire drawing process. However, through regrinding, polishing and stripping and re-coating, many tools can be reconditioned multiple times. Reconditioning extends the economic service life of the tools and reduces tooling costs during ongoing operations.
Custom-made products
Not every application can be optimally addressed using standard components. That is why NABER & WISSMANN also develops and manufactures custom solutions for wire drawing tools, pulleys and wire guides. The geometry, material and surface finish are specifically tailored to the requirements of each application.
